OH THAT DENIM

As much as we tropical islanders' coveting for those 'Burberry-esque' trench coats, the relentless humidity just slaps hard in our faces. I've always envied countries with four seasons, just so that we are able to keep up with fashion trends! Alas i'm grateful for the good ole trustworthy denim has since became a staple classic in my wardrobe. Admittedly, i'm not a loud dresser and have a penchant to gravitate towards the classic-minimalist style. A denim jacket simply puts a casual outfit together and is so much more presentable over a plain white tee (with good cutting). Last weekend I had so much fun goofing with my sister, whose modelesque stature leaves me in envy all the time. She paired a men's classic tee (yes, we sisters like to shop in the men's section) with Uniqlo's stretchy denim, and threw on a motor denim jacket over it.
